What happens when I call 111?

You will be asked a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for your situation

Why should I call 111?

Do you need medical help fast but it is not a 999 emergency?

Do you think you need to go to A&E or need another NHS urgent care service?

Are you unsure of who to call or don't have a GP available to call?

Do you need health information or reassurance about what to do next?

My situation doesn't feel urgent enough for 111 or 999 what should I do?

For anything that feels less urgent for health care needs please contact the pharmacist or GP who will be able to help further
